President Cyril Ramaphosa has claimed that State Capture has been stopped and that whomsoever thinks otherwise should think again in a media briefing outside Hitekani Primary School in Chiawelo, Soweto, on Monday, 01 November 2021.

President Ramaphosa was speaking after casting his vote earlier today morning. “State capture has been stopped and who ever thinks that state capture has not been stopped must really think again because we had state capture for a number of years, we have stopped it in its tracks,” said president Ramaphosa.

“Many institutions had been captured and they were compromised in many, many ways and we have made sure that those institutions are repositioned, that they were able to do their constitutional functions and those people who were responsible at the time for state capture activities are moved aside and we waiting for the report,” he added.

President Cyril Ramaphosa further asked for patience from those who are “waiting to see heads roll” as he is awaiting for the state capture report from the Zondo commission to be issued so to take the necessary action against the leader who are implicated in the state capture.
